Witness appeal following burglary - MIddleton

We are appealing for information following a report of an attempted burglary in Middleton, Milton Keynes.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:50pm on Sunday 8th March 2026, close to Deacon Place, Middleton.

Two stocky males, both wearing face coverings and dark clothing, attempted to gain entry via the front door. When they realised the occupants were inside, they called out claiming there had been an “explosion” at a neighbouring address and that they needed to enter to “check the water”.
This information was false.

The males did not gain entry, and no injuries were reported.
